Terms of Use

These Ronride Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms of Use") This Terms and Conditions of Use of Ronride (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms of Use") is governed by the Terms and Conditions of Ronride Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"). (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), is a contract for the use of the service, which applies to users of Ronride (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") provided by Ronride, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is a contract for the use of the Service, which is applicable to users of Ronride (hereinafter referred to as "the Service").

In this Service, there are "Researcher User", "General User", and "Guest User" as defined below, and when we write only "User" without any special mention, we mean all of these three types of users.

Structure

Definitions

A person who uses digital contents distributed on the Service or various services operated on the Service is collectively referred to as a "User".
Among Users, those who use the Service without registering as a member of the Service are referred to as "Guest Users".
Those who create and distribute digital content or operate various services, write articles such as papers and blogs on the Service, and allow general users and Guest Users to subscribe to, view, or otherwise use the Service are referred to as "Researcher Users" ("Researcher User" includes corporate entities). Researcher" includes those who require all of our article writing, research publication, and article material subscription services.
Members who do not create articles, but only subscribe to and read articles and ask questions to Researcher Users are referred to as "General Users.

Functions of the Service and Our Role and Philosophy

The Service is a web service designed to (1) improve the quantity and quality of Researcher Users' research activities (including discussions, debates, and dialogues) and (2) create a platform for digital content that directly connects Researcher Users with general users and guest users, which is managed and operated by the Company. The Company will endeavor to contribute to raising awareness of the Service, improving user convenience, and raising intellectual standards around the world through promotion and other means.
We aim to promote scientific communication free from personality criticism and harassment, and strive for the happiness of each and every researcher and the betterment of society as a whole through such communication.
Eligibility for use

This service is available to those who meet all of the following criteria

Those who agree with our philosophy and are able to continuously comply with it.
Those who agree to and can continuously abide by the Terms of Use.
Those who can provide an Internet connection environment at their own responsibility and expense.
Those who are legally responsible for the conclusion of the contract. Or, those who have obtained the consent of their parents or guardians.
Those who have the ability to pay using the payment method specified by the Company.
Handling of copyrights and other contents

Copyrights to digital content created by all users, including researchers, belong to the users who created the content. The Company is in a position to provide functions as a media and platform based on these Terms of Use, and does not authorize the transfer or lending of copyrights of digital content to users.
Users reserve all rights to any Content that they transmit, post or display themselves on or through the Service. User Content, including Researcher Content, belongs to the user who created it. That is, you own the Content (including your audio, photos, and videos incorporated into other Content, which are also considered part of Researcher User Content).

By submitting, posting or displaying Content on or through the Services, you grant us the worldwide and exclusive license to use, copy, reproduce, process, modify, adapt, publish, transmit, display and distribute such Content through any media or delivery method, whether known or hereafter developed. and distribute such content in any and all media or distribution methods, whether known or hereafter developed (which rights shall include, for example, curation, transformation, and translation), without compensation to us. By granting this license, you authorize us and other users to make your work publicly available for viewing worldwide.
With respect to any Content that you submit, post, transmit, or otherwise make available via the Services, we, or any other company, organization, or individual, may, without compensation to you (and you agree that your use of the Services is sufficient compensation for the Content and the grant of rights in the Content) You agree that your use of the Services is adequate consideration for the Content and for the grant of rights in the Content.

You represent and warrant that you have or have obtained all rights, licenses, consents, permissions, powers and/or authorities necessary to grant the rights granted herein with respect to any Content you transmit, post or display on or through the Services. You represent and warrant that you have or have obtained all rights, licenses, consents, permissions, authority and/or powers necessary to grant the rights granted herein. You agree that such Content shall not contain any material that is subject to copyright or other proprietary rights unless you have the necessary permissions or otherwise have the legal authority to post the material and grant the foregoing license to Ronride. .
Ronride may publish user-produced material in books by us, and we have developmental rules regarding how we may use user content on the Service. These rules exist to create a mechanism for us to quickly disseminate our research results to the world, keeping in mind the rights of our users. You understand that your content may be modified or changed when we distribute, distribute, publish, or broadcast your content and/or that we may make changes to your content to adapt it to different media.

Withdrawal from Membership

If a user wishes to cancel his/her membership, the user shall submit a request for cancellation of membership to the Company in the prescribed manner.

Prohibited Matters

Acts that cause or threaten to cause annoyance or damage to other users or the Company, acts of harassment, attacks on personal character
Any misconduct in research. Quoting without source, plagiarism, etc.
Mechanical acquisition, reproduction (copying), or editing of the contents of this service using scraping or other techniques.
Bypassing or disabling technical measures, security or authentication measures taken to protect the contents.
Providing viruses, malware, or other malicious programs
Making secondary use of the contents of this service without our permission and without proper citation
Transferring or lending IDs and passwords to persons other than the user
Sharing IDs with an unspecified number of people.
Committing any act that violates laws, regulations, or public order and morals.
To perform any act that interferes with our services.
To commit an act that illegally uses another person's credit card.
Suspension of Use of the Service, Deletion of Contents, etc.

If a user violates these Terms of Use, the Company may suspend all or part of the Service for that user. In such cases, the Company shall not be obligated to notify the user in any way.
The Company may suspend all or part of the Service when the Company conducts fault restoration or routine maintenance of the Service. In such cases, the Company shall notify the user of the suspension of the Service by reasonable means.
The Company may suspend or discontinue any part of the functions of the Service without prior notice to the user.
The Company may suspend the use of the Service for any User who has been suspended or otherwise disciplined by the Company in the past for violations of these Terms of Use or other reasons.
The Company may delete or disable access to any postings or content that it deems harmful, such as hate speech or character criticism.

Liability

The Company will take reasonable measures to prevent cyber attacks such as unauthorized access or hacking to the Service, hardware failures in the operation of the Service, and software failures including bugs, but the Company cannot guarantee that these will not occur. In addition, the Company shall not be liable for any damage caused by force majeure, such as connection failure with the Internet line that the user independently contracts and uses, or natural disasters.
The Company does not guarantee that the contents posted by users on the Service are free of computer viruses or other harmful content. In addition, even if a user's computer, software, or other equipment is infected by a computer virus or other harmful content or files posted by a user on the Service, the Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the user as a result of such infection.
After the establishment of a usage contract, members are obligated to comply with the Terms of Use. The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred in the event that the Company suspends an account due to a violation of the Terms of Use.
The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred if the Company takes action to delete content due to a violation of the Terms of Service.
We will not be liable for any research misconduct contained in any content posted by users on the Service, even if such misconduct is related to the rights of the users.
Payment and Refund

After the conclusion of the subscription agreement, no association refunds can be made for the user's convenience.
Even if the subscription is cancelled in the middle of the subscription, no refund will be made for any fees already paid.

Personal Information

We collect the minimum amount of personal information necessary for the operation of the Service and manage it securely using reasonable methods. The handling of personal information is in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is set forth separately.
Except as permitted by law, we will not disclose any personal information of users to other users other than as described above.

Notices to Users

We periodically send email newsletters and smartphone/tablet application push notifications to users to inform them of content updates and recommended content for all services provided by the Company. Users can stop either of these services by changing the settings on their smartphones or tablets.
The Company may notify users of recommended content by the above means based on their activity history on the site/application.
The contents of email newsletters and push notifications are information regarding all services provided by the Company.

Changes to the Contents of the Service and the Terms of Use

The Company may change the contents of the Service at its discretion. In addition, MUTOH HOLDINGS reserves the right to change the Terms of Service at its discretion. Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the modified TOS shall become effective from the time they are displayed on the Site.
If the Company decides to change the TOS, it will notify the users by e-mail or other method appropriate for publicity, and post the revised TOS at a designated URL.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, if you use the Service after receiving notice of any changes to the TOS or after the date of any changes to the TOS, you will be deemed to have agreed to such changes without objection.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these TOS, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
In the event of any discrepancy in interpretation between the text of these Terms of Use and any translation thereof, the Japanese language shall govern and be interpreted in accordance with the Japanese language.
